What happens to a job once we've won it?
It becomes one record with the diary booking, the trades, the parts, the payments, the warranty and the files all on it. The five places a job normally lives — diary, wall planner, subbie's phone, folder, someone's memory — become one.
How quickly does the office know what's happened on site?
As the fitter does it. Photos added on the driveway are on the job the office is looking at, so nobody's ringing to ask how it's going.
Can I stop fitters seeing the money?
Yes — one permission controls it. The job record is useful to a fitter without the value and the balance being on it.
Does it cover what happens after the fit?
Sign-off starts every warranty on the job, the review request goes out, and a service call two years later still points back at the install it came from.
Can I see the profit on a job?
Yes. You enter the cost against each product line alongside the price, and the margin on that line shows as soon as you do.
